Disco Singh is the latest Punjabi comedy film that is doing moderate in the theaters. This movie has Diljit Dosanjh in the male lead, and Suvreen Chawla in the female lead. Directed by Anurag Singh under the PTC motion banner this film is performing well if just consider the response by Punjab. On its first day it made a collection of around 1.4 crores Nett. Quite a good collection for the moving starring new talents, this much awaited movie by the Punjabi audience was released on 11th of April. People have given an overwhelming response to the actor cum singer Diljit Dosanjh.

Considering the budget and promotions, Disco Singh has made a huge profit already. It has taken the title of being 2nd highest opener in the Punjabi films after Jatt and Juliet 2.

The first weekend collection of Disco Singh was around 4.34 crore for the movie. A total of 9 crore could be gathered in first week of the release. 10 days back when this film as released an excitement among the audience of Punjab was at its peak. With the days running by this film has lost its charm not even entering a double digit collection at the box office.

Disco Singh 10th Day Total Collection at Box Office

Today is the 10th day for this comedy Punjabi flick and the estimated total for today can rise up to 0.3 crore in the Punjab and the regions nearby. Not much of expectations for the total 10 days collection, but a scant collection of 9.5 crores total is estimated by the end of 10th day.

The movie is about a Sikh dancer, who struggles his way out to achieve fame and in the meanwhile falls in love with Suvreen Chawla. Released during the harvesting festival of Punjab ‘Baisakhi’ this film got quite good responses initially. But the response drooped by 10th day leaving them with only 9.5 crore collection.

The release of ‘2 States’ is also supposed to have an dampening effect on the response.

Hope this movie makes a good lifetime profit in the coming weeks.
