Superstar Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer this Friday released biggie Tiger Zinda Hai has passed it’s opening weekend on a phenomenal note as expected. Being the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, it was released with great buzz among fans and getting terrific response at box office across the country.
With it’s hard-hitting action scenes and solid performances by the lead actors, Tiger Zinda Hai has left strong impact on viewers. From most of the critics, this action thriller has received positive remarks and gained positive word of mouth. As a result, it remained super strong throughout at box office and registered biggest opening weekend of all time in Bollywood.
On the opening day, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial started it’s journey on an outstanding note and registered the best opening of 2017 in Bollywood with 34.10 crores of business from 4600 screens nationwide. With this, it has also emerged as the sixth highest opener of all time in Hindi cinema.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, due to weekend and favorable waves over box office, Tiger Zinda Hai took jump and did the business of 35.30 crores. Then being the public holiday, Sunday come out with a good jump in footfalls and dragged the film into the 100-crore club.
On it’s third day of release, Tiger Zinda Hai garnered the business of 45.53 crores and raised it’s opening weekend total collection to 114.93 crores at domestic box office. With this, it has surpassed the lifetime total of Kaabil (103.84 crores). Now there is a holiday on Monday as well due to Christmas, so 35+/- crores of business is positively expected from the film.
