Couple of weeks back released Tiger Zinda Hai has started it’s third week as well on a good note. Due to not having any competition, the movie still has strong hold over the audience and all set to enter in 300 crore club by this Saturday (16th day) at domestic box office.
Being the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, this latest action thriller was released with huge buzz among fans and as expected opened to a terrific note. Due to favorable remarks of audience as well as critics, it gained positive word of mouth and as a result heading steadily.
With solid initial buzz, Tiger Zinda Hai opened with year’s best opener in Bollywood and showed remarkable growth over the weekend. With steady performance in weekdays, it did the business of total 206.04 crores in first week that included 114.93 crores in weekend and 91.11 crores in weekdays from 4600 screens.
Then in the second week as well, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial remained strong and raked the business of total 85.51 crores with 48.71 crores in weekend and 36.80 crores in weekdays from approx. 3500 screens nationwide. After 2 weeks, total collection of TZH was recorded 291.55 crores.
Now it has entered in third weekend and witnessed around 27% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 3.72 crores. With this, total 15 days collection of Tiger Zinda Hai has become 295.27 crores at domestic box office. In just one more day, it would become 3rd 300-crore grosser of Salman Khan.
