Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer latest offering Tiger Zinda Hai is enjoying it’s third uninterrupted week and has become the 5th 300-crore grosser of all time in Hindi cinema after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dangal. Alongside, it has also surpassed the lifetime total of Salman’s Sultan (300.45 crores) in just 16 days of release.
From the very first day of release, Tiger Zinda Hai is setting new records at box office and still heading to achieve more height. Due to not having any competition, it still has good hold over the audience across the country and now eyeing on Salman Khan’s biggest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
With 2017’s best opening in Bollywood, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial registered the business of total 206.04 crores in the first week that included 114.93 crores in weekend and 91.11 crores in weekdays from 4600 screens nationwide.
In the second week as well, Tiger Zinda Hai remained strong and did the business of 85.51 crores with 48.71 crores in weekend and 36.80 crores in weekdays from more than 3500 screens nationwide. After 2 weeks, total collection of the film was recorded 291.54 crores.
Now once again it is in weekend and showing good performance with maintained pace. On 3rd Friday, YRF’s presentation faced around 27% of drop than previous day and collected 3.72 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, Tiger Zinda Hai garnered 5.62 crores with fair growth and raised 16 days domestic total to 300.89 crores.
