Padmaavat (Padmavati) 17th Day Box Office Collection, Shows Good Hold on 3rd Saturday

Ace storyteller Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat is showing good hold over the audience in its third week, despite having the newly released highly anticipated PadMan in the opposite. After the two excellent weeks, this epic period drama is once again enjoying the weekend thoroughly at the box office.

With the super quality visuals, flawless execution and outstanding performances of lead actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor, Padmaavat has impressed everyone and gained strong word of mouth. As a result, it has registered many box office records so far.

On 3rd Friday, this Viacom 18 Motion Pictures’ presentation recorded a drop of 30% than the previous day and did the business of 3.50 crores. Then on the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, the film witnessed a solid growth of 80% and minted the amount of 6.30 crores. With this, its 17 days total collection has become 245.80 crores.

Surrounded by numerous controversies, Padmaavat that was earlier known as Padmavati, was released solo on 25 January 2018 with huge hype among the audience. After an excellent opening, it remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 166.50 crores that included 114 crores of 4-days weekend and 52.50 crores of weekdays.

In the second week as well, the movie managed to remain steady and raked the business of 69.50 crores with 46 crores on weekend and 23.50 crores in weekdays. Padmaavat is all set to go past 250 crores mark at the domestic box office by 3rd Sunday.
