Padmaavat 22nd Day Box Office Collection, Earns 267.75 Crores Total in 3 Weeks

One of the most controversial Indian movies in recent times Padmaavat has completed the 3 weeks journey on an excellent note at the box office. Despite all the odds, the movie got succeed to show its potential and also impressed all the viewers across the globe.

Directed by the ace storyteller Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, who have given outstanding performances. Specially Ranveer, whose acting is one of the major highlights in this epic period drama.

After successfully passing last 2 weeks, the movie performed strongly in the third week as well, despite having Akshay Kumar starrer highly anticipated PadMan in the opposite. It once again showed remarkable growth over the third weekend and did the business of 17.80 crores that included 3.50 crores of Friday, 6.30 crores of Saturday and 8 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays, as usual, Padmaavat witnessed some drop in footfalls but still remained steady. On 3rd Monday, it recorded a dip of only 9% than last Friday and minted the amount of 3.20 crores. On 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday, the movie took jump due to partial holidays of Maha Shivaratri and bagged 3.75 crores and 4.50 crores respectively.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Thursday, with a usual drop, Padmaavat raked the business of 2.50 crores and raised its 3 weeks total collection to 267.75 crores at the domestic box office including 166.50 crores of the first week and 69.50 crores of the second.
