Padman 15th Day Box Office Collection, Akshay-Sonam-Radhika’s Film Slows Down

Although superstar Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte, Padman has become hit at the box office, but earlier it was expected to show better performance. Directed by R.Balki, this social drama was released with good buzz among the audience and also received very positive reviews from everyone.

Despite positive word of mouth, Padman witnessed a considerable drop after a decent opening week and completed its second week on a steady but low note. In the first week, Twinkle Khanna’s debut production opened to a decent note and by remaining steady throughout it did the business of total 62.87 crores that included 40.05 crores of the weekend and 22.82 crores of weekdays.

Then in the second week, Padman got dropped by 78% than week-one and raked the business of 13.78 crores including 9.03 crores of the weekend and 4.75 crores of weekdays. After the 2 weeks, the total collection of the film was recorded 76.65 crores at the domestic box office.

Now it has entered in the third week and has two more Hindi offerings- Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Welcome To New York in the opposite along with the existing Padmaavat and Aiyaary. On its 3rd Friday, Padman reported a drop of 50% than the previous day and minted the amount of 0.50 crore.

With this, the total collection Padman after 15 days, has become 77.15 crores. Now it seems to collect near about 80 crores in its lifetime because it is losing the hold on every single day.
