Veteran Actress Sridevi Passes Away after a Massive Heart Attack in Dubai: RIP

Quite sad and shocking to know, that Bollywood queen Sridevi ji is no more. The 54-years old veteran actress passed away after a massive heart attack in Dubai on 24 February 2018. She was there with husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding.

She was one of the gems of Indian Cinema and the news of her sudden death has left entire film industry and fans in a deep shock. For 10-15 minutes after the news, everyone was expecting it to be one of those nasty rumors, but unfortunately, it is true.

Sridevi’s brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor himself confirmed the news of her sudden demise to media. He told, “Yes, it is true that Sridevi passed away. I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don’t know more details yet.”

As per reports, currently, well-wishers are rushing to the house of Sridevi in Mumbai to give condolence to her elder daughter Janhvi, who couldn’t be in Dubai due to her shooting schedule for the film Dhadak.

Sridevi was born on 13 August 1963 in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. She started her career as a child artist at the age of four in 1967 and made her Bollywood debut in 1975 with the hit film Julie. As a lead actress, her first Hindi film was 1978’s Solva Sawan and she was last seen in 2017’s Mom.
