Vishal Pandya’s directorial the fourth installment of franchise Hate Story, Hate Story 4 has passed the opening weekend on an average note and now running on weekdays with almost steady but low pace. This erotic thriller has received mixed reviews from the viewers and as a result, performing lower than expected at the box office.
Starring Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena, and Ihana Dhillon, Hate Story 4 has generated a good lead over the two adjacent releases- Dil Juunglee and 3 Storeys, but got failed to take over the records of Hate Story 3 and Hate Story 2.
Due to clutter and the presence of much-liked Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety at the box office, HS4 opened on a decent note and did the business of 3.76 crores on Friday. Due to mixed reactions, it recorded limited growth over the weekend and collected the amount of 4.19 crores on Saturday and 4.62 crores on Sunday.
After the weekend, the total collection of Hate Story 4 had recorded 12.57 crores at the domestic box office. Now the film is running on weekdays and as usual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before due to normal working days.
On Monday, T-Series Films’ presentation faced a drop of around 45% than its opening day and minted the amount of 2.09 crores. Then with a similar response, it bagged the amount of 2.10 crores and raised its 5 days total domestic collection to 16.76 crores.
