Rangasthalam 1st Day Collection, Ram Charan & Samantha starrer takes a Massive Opening

One of the much-awaited movies of the year from Tollywood, Rangasthalam has hit the screens on Friday with a superb buzz among fans as well as the Telugu audience worldwide. As expected, this action drama has opened on a massive note and registered the biggest opening of 2018 so far in Telugu cinema.

Directed by Sukumar, this action drama stars superstar Ram Charan and Samantha Prabhu Akkineni in lead roles. Because of its engaging story-line, wonderful performances by the actors, and flawless direction, the movie has impressed all the viewers and getting mostly positive reviews across the globe.

On the opening day, Rangasthalam took a thunderous start and recorded 100% occupancy at most of the centers worldwide. Across Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, the movie witnessed houseful shows everywhere and registered the massive opening business of 28.30 crores gross (19.50 crores nett) from approx. 1000 screens.

At overseas market as well, Mythri Movie Makers’ production received a terrific response on Friday and raised its opening day worldwide gross total collection to 43.80 crores from 1500 screens. With this, it has become the highest opener of Ram Charan’s career so far by dominating the record of his 2016’s Dhruva (22.50 crores).

Due to positive reactions from the audience as well as the critics, Rangasthalam has gained a positive word of mouth, which will help it to remain strong throughout the opening weekend at the domestic as well as worldwide box office.
