Sanjay Dutt Biopic gets the title Sanju, Teaser Raises the Expectations

Keenly-awaited biopic of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has finally got the title, Sanju. Directed by the ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani who has given several unforgettable films like Munna Bhai franchise, 3 Idiots & PK, the upcoming one is undoubtedly the highly anticipated film of the year.

On April 24, as promised, makers unveiled the first look poster of Sanju, which is amazing no doubt. The picture features the title with a tagline ‘one man…many lives‘ and the leading actor Ranbir Kapoor in different avatars of Sanjay Dutt from his young days to the days after release from jail.

Along with the poster, makers also launched its teaser which raises the expectations of fans to the next level. Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt impresses everyone by his efforts of sinking into the role. The way he imitated the style and stance of Dutt is appreciable.

Sanju is the story of a man who has lived many lives. It narrates all the phases of Sanjay Dutt’s life from his drug addiction at the age of 22 to Munna Bhai comeback to the days after release from jail. The days he spent in hotel suites with life-size windows to the days he spent in window-less jail.

Produced by Vinod Chopra Films & Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, Sanju is all set to release on 29 June 2018. It stars Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Manisha Koirala as Nargis, Dia Mirza as Maanyata, Karishma Tanna as Madhuri Dixit and Anushka Sharma & Sonam Kapoor in extended cameos.
