‘Carry On Jatta 2’ 1st Day Box Office Collection, Gippy Grewal starrer Takes Record Opening

One of the most awaited Punjabi films of the year, Carry On Jatta 2 has been released at the box office and as expected started its journey on a wonderful note. Directed by Smeep Kang, this romantic comedy is the second installment of the franchise that was begun in the year 2012 with the much-loved film Carry On Jatta.

Starring the Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal and very charming Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, Carry On Jatta 2 has got succeed to hit the target right. For its funfilled story-line and hilarious performances by the actors, the film is getting positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience across North India.

Alongside Gippy & Sonam, White Hill Studios’ presentation has a strong supporting cast that includes Gurpreet Ghuggi, Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla & B.N. Sharma. Their presence has added more taste to this crazy treat and made the new installment funnier than ever.

On the opening day, Carry On Jatta 2 took an excellent start in the opening and remained strong throughout. With a major contribution from Punjab and New Delhi, it has registered the bumper opening of 3.67 crores gross at the domestic box office and become the highest opener of all time in Punjabi Cinema and Gippy Grewal’s career so far.

As per the trend, the film seems to take good growth over the weekend. At the international markets as well, Carry On Jatt 2 is getting a terrific response at the box office.
