5th Day Collection of Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani’s Film Surpasses Baaghi 2 within 5 Days

After a blockbuster opening weekend, ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s latest offering Sanju is heading terrifically on weekdays as well. Due to very positive feedback from the viewers, the movie has gained a strong word of mouth. As a result, it has surpassed the lifetime total of Baaghi 2 (165.50 crores) within 5 days of release.

For the brilliant performances by all the actors especially Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal & Vicky Kaushal and its well-scripted story, Sanju has received quite positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Raju Hirani is also being appreciated by everyone for his proficient direction.

Dutt biopic was released this Friday amid the huge excitement of fans and registered the biggest opening of the year so far with 34.75 crores on a phenomenal note. As expected over the weekdays, it showed a healthy jump and minted the amount of 38.60 crores on Saturday and 46.71 crores on Sunday.

After the opening weekend, the total collection of Sanju was recorded at 120.06 crores from 4000 screens across India. Now Fox Star Studios’ presentation is running on weekdays and still has a very strong hold over the audience nationwide.

On Monday, it faced a drop of 27.05% than Friday and raked the business of 25.35 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, with a further decline, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production bagged 22.10 crores and raised its 5 days total collection to 167.51 crores at the domestic box office.
