It was earlier reported that Nora Fatehi has stepped into Sushmita Sen’s shoes with the recreated version of the 1999 hit song Dilbar which was a massive hit back then, for Milap Zaveri’s upcoming film, Satyameva Jayate initially titled SMJ, starring John Abraham.
The song, re-created by Tanshik Bagchi, with lyrics penned by Shabbir Ahmed and Ikka and sung by Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanusali, and Ikka, stars Nora with John Abraham with a twist of Arabic theme to it.
Nora Fatehi, looking gorgeous as ever, has outdone herself with her insane dance moves and set fire to the screen with her beautiful belly dancing. A self-taught dancer, Nora took inspiration from the Turkish belly dancer, Didem for her splendid costumes and moves.
One of her costumes in the song has also been inspired by Cleopatra with the gleaming outfit being stitched on to the Moroccan beauty. What’s even more amazing is that Nikhil Advani, who is producing the film, wanted Nora to choreograph her own belly dancing moves as she is very well versed with the dance form.
Speaking of choreographing her own moves, Nora said, “It was an amazing experience working with the team. They were very accommodating and were aware of my knowledge of dance. Nikhil really wanted me to add my own personal touch to the song and I was given the liberty to groove to the music to choreograph portions of the song. Many times he would keep rolling the camera to give me the liberty to do my own movements and adapted that into the video.”
