Yesterday was a good day for some small budget Bollywood movies and also some other industries movies. Three Hindi releases The Xpose, Midsummer Midnight Mumbai and The Children of War – Nine Months to Freedom and Hollywood biggies Godzilla released yesterday some with good word of mouth and some with low response and review by critics. The interesting fact is that once again Hollywood flick looks to be running more decently over the Bollywood movies. The recent Hollywood film Godzilla hit the Indian box office this Friday with some other Indian movies but the thing is that Godzilla is facing much public attention than the rest. As expected Godzilla has taken a much better start that The Xpose in many centers. The movie is very good at places like Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi and other big cities. The opening of the 3D version is far better than the 2D version. The movie has released on approximately 1250+ screens and the movie is likely to collect good number over the due course of the weekend after such a good opening.

Second Day Box Office Collection of Godzilla

On its second day of release the film Godzilla is making very good performance and has collected nice figures by the end of 2nd day. Total 2nd Day Box Office Collection of Godzilla is around 5 Crores which is very profitable if the film continues to maintain the pace on the big screen. One more positive point in the favor of Godzilla apart from its mind blowing animation, story and dramatization is the failure of other Hindi releases like Midsummer Midnight Mumbai (M3) and The Children of War which both had opened to extremely poor numbers and are likely to be big washouts at the box office. the track on the box office seems to be easy for Godzilla and is has to face competition with only one Bollywood flick named The Xpose to lead the figures of first weekend.
