10th Day Box Office Collection of Mulk, Karwaan & Fanney Khan, 2nd Weekend Report

Last week released Hindi movies Mulk, Karwaan & Fanney Khan have faced no competition due to Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited Tamil/Hindi offering Vishwaroop 2 in their second weekend. Except Fanney Khan, rest two witnessed good growth in footfalls and cashed the weekend very well.

Rishi Kapoor & Taapsee Pannu starrer courtroom drama Mulk has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. But the box office clutter hampered its performance by a considerable rate and it did the business of 12.81 crores in the opening week that included 8.16 crores of the weekend and 4.65 crores of weekdays.

Then on 2nd Friday, Abhinav Sinha’a directorial remained unaffected and did the business of 1 crore. On 2nd Saturday, it took a healthy growth and minted 1.70 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Sunday, the movie raked 2 crores and raised its 10 days total collection to 17.51 crores at the domestic box office.

On the other hand, the second release which also received positive feedback from the viewers, Irrfan Khan’s Karwaan did the business of 12.50 crores in the first week with 8.10 crores on the weekend and 4.40 crores on weekdays. In its 2nd weekend, Akarsh Khurana’s directorial registered 4.45 crores (Fri 0.90cr, Sat 1.50cr, Sun 1.75cr) and raised its total collection to 16.65 crores.

While the third one, Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan got failed to entertain the viewers. As a result, it collected 10.55 crores in the first week with 7.75 crores on the weekend and 2.80 crores on weekdays. Then in the 2nd weekend, it raked 2.20 crores (Fri 0.50cr, Sat 0.75cr, Sun 0.95cr) and raised 10 days total to 12.75 crores.
