18th Day Collection of Gold and Satyameva Jayate, 3rd Saturday Box Office Report

After an excellent opening week and a decent second week, Independence Day releases Gold & Satyameva Jayate have entered in the third week on a low note. Since the release, both are badly affecting each other’s performances and now they have other offerings as well in parallel.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment, Gold has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. In the opening 9-days extended week, it did the business of 89.30 crores with 71.30 crores on the weekend and 18 crores on weekdays.

In the second week, after a considerable drop, Akshay Kumar starrer registered the business of 14.70 crores that included 9.70 crores on the weekend and 5 crores on weekdays. Now it is running in the third week and collected the amount of 0.45 crore on third Friday. On 3rd Saturday, it minted 0.82 crore and raised 18 days total collection to 105.27 crores.

On the other hand, John Abraham & Manoj Bajpayee starrer Satyameva Jayate has also got succeed to entertain the audience and registered the business of 75.09 crores in the 9-days extended opening week that included 56.91 crores on the weekend and 18.18 crores on weekdays.

In the second week, Milap Milan Zaveri’s directorial did the business of 13.71 crores with 8.34 crores on the weekend and 5.37 crores on weekdays. On its 3rd Friday, after an abrupt drop, SMJ collected 0.30 crore. While on 3rd Saturday, it raked 0.50 crore and raised 18 days total collection to 89.60 crores.
