Sui Dhaaga & Pataakha 4th Day Collection, Varun-Anushka starrer Holds Well on Monday

After an excellent opening weekend, director Sharat Katariya’s Sui Dhaaga has reported a steady performance on Monday as well despite a normal working day. Due to positive word of mouth, the movie showed a strong uptrend over the weekend and now all set to emerge next hit of the year.

Being the much-anticipated release, Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma in lead roles, Sui Dhaaga has got succeed to hit the target right as expected and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience across the country.

Presented by Yash Raj Films, this content-driven romantic comedy-drama was released with large-scale promotions and got a decent start. On Friday, it did the business of 8.30 crores despite the Asia Cup 2018 Final. Then on Saturday, the movie took a healthy jump and collected 12.25 crores.

On the next day i.e. Sunday, with a further growth, Sui Dhaaga raked the business of 16.05 crores and raised its opening weekend total collection to 36.60 crores. Now it has entered on weekdays and still has a strong hold over the audience, especially in metro cities.

On Monday, Sui Dhaaga has witnessed a drop of only 15.66% than Friday and minted the amount of 7 crores. With this, the total collection of the movie after 4 days, has become 43.60 crores nett at the domestic box office from 2500 screens.

While the adjacent release, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha has also received positive reviews from the critics and showed an uptrend over the weekend but still remained overall low. It did the business of 0.90 crore on Friday, 1.40 crores on Saturday & 1.75 crores on Sunday.

On Monday, Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan starrer this unconventional comedy-drama has faced no drop in footfalls and managed to collect 0.94 crore on Monday to raise its 4 days total collection to 4.99 crores nett from 875 screens across India.
