A couple of awaited Hindi movies Badhaai Ho & Namaste England are releasing a day earlier this week i.e. on Thursday instead of Friday. Both the offerings will enjoy a 4-days extended weekend and are expected to open on a similar note. Word of mouth will decide their fate over the weekend.
Starring Ayushmann Khurrana & Sanya Malhotra in lead roles, desi comedy-drama Badhaai Ho is making good buzz since its trailer was released out. Because of its quirky but entertaining content, it seems promising and capable to attract enough audience across single as well as multi-screen cinemas.
Ayushmann has a fine taste in selecting scripts, this is why Bollywood fans have good expectations with him. As per the buzz & positive early reviews, Amit Sharma’s directorial is expected to open on a good note with 5-6 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, after a long time filmmaker Amrutlal Shah is back as a director with Namaste England, the second movie of the franchise that was begun in 2007 with Namastey London. Starring Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra in lead roles & associated with a successful franchise, it has a good pre-release buzz.
Presented by Reliance Entertainment & PEN Movies, Namaste England is expected to open decently in a range of 5-6 crores. Further performance depends on the reactions of viewers, although the early reviews from critics are mixed.
