Tumbbad, Helicopter Eela, Jalebi & FryDay 6th Day Box Office Collection Report

Except for Aanand L Rai’s Tumbbad, all the Hindi offerings that were released on Friday have got crashed on weekdays due to no positive response from the audience & struggling to attract enough audience. This can be considered as one of the most horrible weeks of the year so far for Bollywood.

Horror fantasy Tumbbad, directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Anand Gandhi & Adesh Prasad, has got succeed to impress critics as well as the viewers. It received mostly positive reviews and gained a favorable word of mouth. But still registered an overall average weekend with 3.25 crores.

Then on weekdays, the movie faced some drop in footfalls and minted the amount of 0.70 crore on Monday & 0.72 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday as well, Tumbbad collected 0.72 crore and raised 6 days total collection to 5.39 crores at the domestic box office.

Pradeep Sarkar’s directorial drama film Helicopter Eela has received mixed reviews and did the business of 3.10 crores in the weekend. On weekdays, it got dropped and bagged the amount of 0.40 crore on Monday, 0.35 crore on Tuesday & 0.30 crore on Wednesday to raise 6 days total to 4.15 crores.

On the other hand, Mahesh Bhatt’s presentation, romantic drama Jalebi registered the business of 1.70 crores in the weekend with mixed reviews. On weekdays, after a usual drop, it minted 0.25 crore on Monday, 0.20 crore on Tuesday & 0.20 crore on Wednesday. After 6 days, its total collection has become 2.35 crores.

While Govinda & Varun Sharma’s comedy-drama FryDay has emerged disaster at the box office, collected only 1.20 crores in the weekend. On weekdays, it raked the business of 0.15 crore on Monday, 0.10 crore on Tuesday & 0.10 crore on Wednesday to take its 6 days total collection to 1.55 crores.
