Badhaai Ho & Namaste England 2nd Day Collection, Ayushmann-Sanya starrer takes Solid Jump

After an excellent start on Thursday, quirky Hindi comedy Badhaai Ho has witnessed a healthy jump in footfalls on Friday due to solid word of mouth and Dussehra holiday. Ayushmann Khurrana & Sanya Malhotra starrer is making buzz ever since its trailer was released and as expected, doing very well at the box office post-release.

Directed by Amit Sharma, Badhaai Ho has got succeed to entertain many in theaters and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. As a result, despite not being released solo, it is attracting major audience toward itself across the country.

On the opening day, the movie started the journey on a good note and registered the business of 7.35 crores. Then on Friday, due to a national holiday of Dussehra, it took a healthy jump and collected 11.85 crores. With this, its total collection after 2 days has become 19.20 crores.

On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer romantic drama Namaste England has got failed to create any magic like its predecessor Namastey London. Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the movie has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience.

On Thursday, it opened on a dull note and registered the opening business of 1.90 crores only. On Friday, despite a holiday, Namaste England recorded a decent jump and minted the amount of 2.50 crores. With this, its 2 days total collection has become 4.40 crores, which is quite low as compared to its healthy budget.
