7th Day Box Office Collection: Badhaai Ho Remains Rock Steady, Namaste England Crashes

The awaited comedy-drama Badhaai Ho that was released on Thursday and registered a phenomenal weekend is heading strongly on weekdays as well. With its quirky story-line, the film has entertained everyone and successfully dominated the bigger offering Namaste England.

Directed by Amit Sharma, Badhaai Ho has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. With a solid word of mouth, it registered an excellent business of 45.70 crores in the 4-days extended weekend that included 7.35 crores on Thursday, 11.85 crores on Friday, 12.80 crores on Saturday & 13.70 crores on Sunday.

Now Ayushmann Khurrana & Sanya Malhotra starrer is running on weekdays and still has a very good hold over the audience. On Monday, it faced a drop of 23.13% than Thursday and collected 5.65 crores. While with a further decline, it minted 5.50 crores on Tuesday & 5 crores on Wednesday. After 7 days, the total collection of Badhaai Ho has become 61.85 crores.

On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra starrer Namaste England has got failed to make an impact and did the business of only 7.95 crores in the 4-days extended weekend with 1.90 crores on Thursday, 2.50 crores on Friday, 1.55 crores on Saturday & 2 crores on Sunday.

Now Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s directorial is running on weekdays and getting a poor response due to mixed reactions. On Monday, it witnessed a usual drop and minted 0.75 crore. Then with further dips, the film raked 0.60 crore on Tuesday & 0.45 crore on Wednesday. After 7 days, its total collection has become 9.75 crores.
