Kochadaiiyaan the Rajnikanth Starrer super exciting movie that was being awaited form last year finally released last week on 23^rd May 2014 with all the high hopes as hypes. The movie has directed by none other than Soundary Ashwin, Rajnikanth’s daughter while Mozart of Madras AR Rahman has scored the music which is already a hit. Being such a high cost and publicized movie, it was in huge buzz among the media for its star cast and popularity. This flick created lots of expectations among the fans and also received all positive reviews from the critics and viewers as well in its journey of 11 days. Ti made an unbreakable opening collection at the box office in domestic as well as the overseas market. Worldwide superstar fans have thoroughly enjoyed the movie in their won languages and if we talk about film’s performance in India then it has hot mixed reviews from the audience. Rajnikanth’s “Kochadaiiyaan” is performing well at the overseas box office. Tamil films of big stars have good markets in key foreign locations. With “Kochadaiiyaan” being a Rajnikanth film, it opened to roaring response worldwide.

Kochadaiiyaan 2nd Weekend & Monday Collection

Although the historic drama faced stiff competition from other-language films including “Manam” (Telugu) and “Heropanti” (Hindi), the film fetched good collections in major markets like the US, UK, Malaysia and Australia. On its 11th day of release, Kochadaiiyaan is still running very good at box office and is leading much of the recent and current films at the box office with 2nd Monday total income of around  2.5 Crores. Soundary and the whole crew have made a fantastic and unique attempt with advanced technology introduced in the films. Kochadaiiyaan has crossed mark of many films and records of Ajith’s and Vijay’s film collections too in the first 4 days. This 3D motion picture has captured most of the children as its main audience and obviously if any film is children centric then it fetches good collections due to their families also who come along with their kids for watching movie. Kochadaiiyaan has entered into its second week and is showing decent performance so we expect it to raise much higher trade figures in the upcoming weekend.

As per the reports, total India Collection of Kochadaiiyaan till now is around 70 Crores.
