Citylights, the latest Bollywood runner in the race seems the only one to attract audience to the cinema halls. As many movies released last Friday but most of them have emerged as non entertainers or just not the viewer’s choice, Citylights is the single flick that has survived somehow till now. Today is the 5th working day for the film and seeing its performance in the past 4 days, we can say that the film is just an average release with good script and characters but lower audience response. Citylights could not trench much audience to the theatres and the total occupancy of the film has been recorded low from the very first day of its release. Yesterday the film saw gradual fall in its collections owing to the first weekday and the fall in the audience continued even today also. There was lesser viewers and those even who came were not satisfied enough due to lack of entertainment. Citylights in its 5 days has experienced a mixed response from the audience and on totality; it has been an ordinary film.

With an average performance in all the 4 days, 1st Tuesday has also come out as a normal income for Citylights. Total 5th day trade made by Citylights is just something above poor and has closed at near 0.6 Crores by the end of the day. Film has faced deep competition from the pre released films namely Heropanti and Kochadaiiyaan which both are ruling box office this time. Most of the viewers seem excited for watching these two films rather than the currently released Citylights. Audience response and critics stats show clearly that viewers are tilted towards Heropanti and Kochadaiiyaan most among all the releases this month.
