The hit-machine Rohit Shetty’s latest offering Simmba is showing exceptional performance at the box office. The film entered in the new year with a big bang and joined the 100-crore club domestically within 5 days of release. Also, it has grossed over 200 crores at the worldwide box office.
The action entertainer Simmba stars the powerhouse actor Ranveer Singh & the sensational Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. It was released with huge buzz and expectedly got succeed to hit the target right. As a result, it has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.
After the excellent start, Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar’s production showed solid uptrend over the weekend and did the business of 75.11 crores which included 20.72 crores on Friday, 23.33 crores on Saturday & 31.06 crores on Sunday despite having last week’s Zero & KGF in the opposite.
Simmba is now running on weekdays and still has a superb hold over the audience across India. On Monday, it remained higher than Friday and minted the amount of 21.24 crores. While on Tuesday due to a holiday, the film witnessed a healthy jump and bagged the amount of 28.19 crores.
On the next day i.e. Wednesday, due to a normal working day, Reliance Entertainment’s presentation faced a significant drop in footfalls but still managed to collect 14.49 crores and raised its 6 days total collection to 139.03 crores at the domestic box office.
