9th Day Box Office Collection: Housefull 4, Saand Ki Aankh & Made In China take Decent Growth

The fourth instalment of the franchise Housefull is getting good support from the audience across the country despite the unfavorable response from critics. After an excellent first week, Housefull 4 is still the first choice of viewers and has witnessed a decent jump in business on 2nd Saturday.

Akshay Kumar starrer the Hindi comedy film has unfortunately got failed to convince many critics but still, the box office numbers are solid. In the opening week, it had raked the business of 141.31 crores that included 53.22 crores in the weekend and 88.09 crores on weekdays from 3900 screens.

Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 is now running in the second week and had started the weekend at a good note by collecting 8.05 crores on 2nd Friday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Saturday, it has bagged 10.10 crores and raised 9 days total collection to 159.46 crores nett which is higher than Kesari (154.50 crores).

In parallel, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh had remained under-performed in the first week and did the business of 11.68 crores. On 2nd Friday, it had minted 1.28 crore at a steady note. On 2nd Saturday, after a decent jump, the film has raked 1.89 crores and raised 9 days total collection to 14.85 crores nett.

While Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s Made In China was opened slightly better but had eventually garnered lower business of 10.50 crores in the first week. On 2nd Friday, it got dropped significantly and minted 0.55 crore. On 2nd Saturday, it has managed to collect 0.70 crore and raised 9 days total collection to 11.75 crores nett.
