Ninth Day Collection of Entertainment at Box Office

Akshay Kumar in full throttle has been known to raise a nifty paw or two. Dog and star come together in a flick that promises to entertain us. Yes we are talking about his latest comedy movie Entertainment which has done an excellent performance in its first week and now the film has entered its second week on box office. Entertainment was released last Friday with no competition and high expectations. The film after release has shown a good graph and stood up the audience hopes and critics views.

The debutant directors have written such films as ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Houseful 2’, so the dialogue, laced with Bollywood jokes and a running Ekta Kapoor gag, comes as no surprise. And this time Entertainment seems to join this hit list soon. The film collected nice income in the first week but the occupancy and response have fallen with the second week.

This is lightly due to the Salman Khan recent biggie Kick running in some screens and mostly due to Ajay Devgan starrer latest action flick Singham Returns. Second Saturday performance of Entertainment is good enough due to weekend time and it managed to collect overall 2.47 Crores and raised up its total India Collection to 62.49 Crores. The figures are not fantastic but still satisfactory considering high competition.

Many have given their positive reviews for the film and some found it just another addition to the brainless script stories of the respected film makers. It is Akshay Kumar who can be seen in every scene in the film and that really tough to snatch attention away from animals and babies because they are such scene-grabbers.

Anyhow Entertainment is a solid entertainer with many gags, jokes, laughter and funny dialogues in it which makes us giggle to our best. What else someone needs more from a film – Entertainment.
