The two Hindi films released this Diwali, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat and Thamma, both have registered an excellent 10-day extended first week at the domestic box office. However, the weekdays witnessed major drops in footfalls, still the films managed to stay strong and scored a fantastic total in week 1.

Then in weekdays, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Thamma reported heavy decline but still managed to score 4.70 crores on Monday, 6.10 crores on Tuesday, and 3.65 crores on Wednesday. With further drop, it minted 3.13 crores on Thursday and registered a 10-day total of 121 crores nett (144.05 crores gross).
On the other hand, the Milan Milap Zaveri directorial intense love story Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat was too started its journey at the box office on a strong note and did an opening business of 10.10 crores on Tuesday. At the 6-day opening weekend, it reported a total of 48.15 crores nett including 8.88 crores on Wednesday, 7.10 crores on Thursday, 6.41 crores on Friday, 7.55 crores on Saturday, and 8.11 crores on Sunday.
In weekdays, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa starrer Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat witnessed comparitively lower drop than the former. It raked a business of 4.20 crores on Monday, 5.15 crores on Tuesday, and 3.50 crores on Wednesday. On Thursday, with further dip, the film collected 3 crores and registered a 10-day total of 64 crores nett.
