Badmashiyaan, Hey Bro & Dirty Politics Second Day Report

Where the whole of the year till now has not shown any tremendous or blockbuster result in the Bollywood cash registers, on the other side one by one many small and low cost films are getting released every single or other week on box office. This week not so promoted and buzzed movies have hit the Indian cinemas. Call this hara-kiri by producers or lack of common sense, this scenario has badly affected exhibitors and makers adversely with dismal numbers on cards.

All the three releases are just average and as are their second day performance till now. On one hand Dirty Politics which had some sort of opening but the other two could not find audience at all due. Overall these films ended up today with bit better performance and response than the opening day as today there was not any distraction for viewers in name of festival or match.

Dirty Politics got boost due to lesser hypes and craze for other two co release. Though film got better numbers in smaller towns and single screens due to massy subject but overall prospects are bleak for all films. It’s the only film that was expected to be upright in collections over other two but that too has not shown the expected performance anyways still better than nothing.

Saturday business of Hey Bro is only 17 lacs* whereas that of Badmashiyaan is just 10 lacs*. Only Dirty Politics is looking better among these three in terms of business, today it has collected around 1.3 Cr*. Today being Saturday and no other big reason for hindering their ways, all three films have done better than Friday but still not impressive. Audience still looking in the favor of Dum Laga Ke Haisha & Badlapur than new releases from Bollywood.
