100 Cr Budget’s Mohenjo Daro Recovers 60 Cr with its Satellite & Music Rights

Hrithik Roshan’s Epic Adventure Mohenjo Daro Earns Massive Before Release!

Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial upcoming epic movie Mohenjo Daro is strongly buzzing among audience from a good time. Being Hrithik Roshan starrer and associated with ace names of the industry like- A.R. Rahman, Javed Akhtar & the director himself, it is year’s one of the most anticipated movies. That is why, makers are so confident about their product and cracked a pre-release deal of 60 crores.

Made with the whopping budget of 100 crores, Mohenjo Daro has recovered 60% of its investment before the release. As per report, makers have sold the satellite as well as music rights of the movie in around 60 crores. This fruitful deal has already dragged them to a safe side and now they do not have to worry much about its performance on box office.

So far, the year 2016 has not come out very good for the industry. Even SRK’s much awaited Fan didn’t raked well on box office. So under such circumstances, this deal is very beneficial for producer Sidharth Roy Kapur and co-producers.

“The makers closed the deal very recently. They were very confident about their product and feel that it has a unique factor, which the TV viewing audience will love. Also with A.R. Rahman being the music composer, a lot of expectations are riding on the film.” a source says.

Mohenjo Daro features the Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan in the role of a farmer and debutante Pooja Hegde as his love interest. The shooting of the movie is already wrapped and is scheduled to be released on 12th of August, possibly opposite to another anticipated movie Rustom features superstar Akshay Kumar, who has already  given two blockbuster movies in this year- Airlift & Housefull 3.
