Bhansali Productions & Viacom 18 Motion Pictures to back ‘Padmavati’

After the very successful epic love story Bajirao Mastani, ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to kick start his next ambitious venture ‘Padmavati’ with Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor & Ranveer Singh as lead stars. This time Deepika & Ranveer will not be seen romancing with each other.

Padmavati is plotted on the siege of Chittor fort, Rajasthan in 1303 CE by Alauddin Khilji to capture the beautiful queen Rani Padmini, wife of Rawal Ratan Singh. Reportedly, Ranveer Singh is playing the character of Alauddin, while Deepika and Shahid are playing as husband-wife, Padmini & Ratan Singh respectively. This is the first time when Shahid and Deepika will be paired opposite to each other.

Recently Sanjay Leela Bhansali has joined hands with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures to produce Padmavati, which is ready to go on floor very soon and scheduled to release on 17 November 2017. This upcoming one is buzzing among audience from a good time and now this announcement has boosted their excitement.

Deepika has already wrapped her Hollywood debut movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Shahid Kapoor is also get freed from the shooting of his next Rangoon and Ranveer Singh still have much time before the commencement of his upcoming Befikre (9 December 2016) promotions. So their is no date issue from any star and Padmavati can go normally on floor.
