Finally the much awaited sequel of 2008’s Rock On has started rolling. As per the announcement, makers have unveiled the first official poster of Rock On 2, which features the lead stars and movie’s logo with a caption ‘every generation finds it voice’, which gives very youthful & lively feeling. Undoubtedly the poster is fabulous and with just one step, the movie has gained so much pre-release hype among audience.

Now everyone is just keen to catch more glimpse from Rock On 2. To make their wish come true, producers made an announcement regarding the release of its official teaser on 5th of September. Along with, a motion poster has also been released, which introduces the principal characters of the movie.

Rock On 2 is an Indian musical-drama movie, directed by Shujaat Saudagar and produced by Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner Excel Entertainment. It is the sequel of 2008’s very successful movie Rock On. In the second installment Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai & Purab Kohli are reprising their roles from the prequel. As an addition to the starcast, makers casted Shraddha Kapoor opposite to Farhan and Shashank Arora in a supporting role.

Story of the movie is written by Abhishek Kapoor and Pubali Chaudhuri. Its music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and presented by the music label Zee Music Company. Lively & rock music was the major reason behind the success of Rock On, and was scored by the same legendary trio. Eros International has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of Rock On 2; scheduled to be released on 11 November 2016.
