Hrithik Roshan is all set for his first biopic based on mathematician Anand Kumar, titled Super 30. Being directed by Vikas Bahl, the film was confirmed earlier this year and now has got it’s release date. Produced by Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment, it is scheduled to hit screens on 23 November 2018.
Patna based mathematician Anand Kumar takes IIT coaching classes for the underprivileged in his institution named Super 30. He made thousands of students’ dream come true with almost cent percent success rate in cracking IIT entrance exams. Now Vikas Bahl & team come up to present cinematic version of his inspiring journey so far.
Titled after the program run by Anand Kumar in Bihar, Super 30 will tell the story behind this program and other aspects of his journey which was surely not a cake walk. Reportedly Kumar himself approved Hrithik Roshan for the role, calling the best choice.
On the other hand, Hrithik is also very much excited to portray genius Kumar on screen. To get the character right, he is being coached by none other than Anand Kumar himself. Earlier in an interview, he said, “I think cinema is a fantastic medium to bring out stories that are inspiring and empowering”.
Apart from Super 30, Hrithik has another project in hands which is an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. In this he will be seen alongside Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in lead role. Backed by Yash Raj Films, it is scheduled to release on 25 January 2019.
