Ittefaq First Look – Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha & Akshaye Khanna Starrer to Release on 3 Nov 2017

Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions are all set for their fifth collaboration Ittefaq in association with BR Films, after Kaal (2015), My Name is Khan (2010), Student Of The Year (2012) and Dear Zindagi (2016). Directed by Abhay Chopra, this upcoming thriller is scheduled to be released on November 03, 2017.

Ittefaq is the official remake of 1969’s Hindi film with the same title, that was directed by Yash Chopra and had the legendary actor Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, Bindu, Madan Puri and Iftekhar in pivotal roles. While the new version is starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.

To set pre release buzz for the film, makers have started teasing audience. On June 29 Thursday, producer Shahrukh Khan unveiled the teaser poster of the film, that had a tagline ‘IT Happened One Night’. He twitted, “What exactly happened that night? #ItHappenedOneNight”.

Then on June 30 Friday, makers released three posters of Ittefaq which unveil the first look of it’s central characters. Actor Sidharth took to twitter to reveal his first look, “Would you believe me if I say it was all just an Ittefaq?Know my story in #Ittefaq OnNov3!”. While Sonakshi captioned her first look, “Would you believe me if I say it wasn’t an Ittefaq? The story unfolds soon… #IttefaqOnNov3!”.

These compelling captions by the actors are confusing, but also generate curiosity toward the film. Although being the remake, it follows the same plot of two murders in one night as original. But expected to be more gripping and thrilling.

Ittefaq brings Sidharth and Sonakshi together for the first time, so their fans are showing good excitement to watch their chemistry on big screen. After the first look, now all are looking forward to it’s promo videos and music, which is composed by Amaal Mallik. The film went on floor in February end and now is under post production stage.
