OK JAANU, the Remake of ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’ stars Shraddha Kapoor & Aditya Roy Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor & Aditya Roy Kapoor, once again sharing screen in Karan Johar’s Ok Jaanu

Last year, film maker Karan Johar had announced the remake of Tamil romantic drama film ‘O Kadhal Kanmani‘ that was  directed by Mani Ratnam and released on 17 April 2015. The original one received huge appreciation from critics as well as audience, that made Karan to remake it in Hindi. The Bollywood version is titled as ‘Ok Jaanu’ and features Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles. After three years of romantic saga Aashiqui 2, Shraddha & Aditya are coming back together in this film.

Recently Karan has posted the first look of lead stars on his twitter handle, along with the names of core team members. The picture features Shraddha and Aditya cuddling up, which seems very romantic. The first look has received huge impressions and has created good hype about the film among audience. Ok Jaanu goes on floor from this month, helmed by Shaad Ali and bankrolled by Dharma Productions.

As per the report, legendary music director A.R. Rahman is being composed the music for Ok Jaanu and lyrics are penned by Gulzar Saab. The film has very strong backend team and expected to recreate the magic of Aashiqui 2 with same star cast. Let see, what come up next from the officials regarding this remake.
