Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja First Look, Trailer Releases on 17th December

‘Neerja’ stars Sonam Kapoor, Shekhar Ravjiani & Shabana Azmi

Neerja is an upcoming Indian biographical movie, directed by Ram Madhvani and produced by Atul Kasbekar under the banner of Fox Star Studios. The movie features Sonam Kapoor in a title role, along with well known music composer cum singer Sekhar Ravjiani and Shabana Azmi in supporting characters. It is based on the life of Neerja Bhanot, who was shot dead by terrorists while Mumbai-New York flight hijack in Karachi on 5th of September 1986. Neerja tells the untold story of a young brave flight attendant, who fought for the lives of passengers till her last breath.

Yesterday, in order to set hype among audience, makers of Neerja have unveiled its poster featuring only the logo. As per the official announcement, official trailer of the movie is to be released on Thursday i.e. 17th December 2015 and will screened in theaters with Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale on 18th December. Sunny Deol’s Ghayal Once Again trailer is also attached with it.

The script of the movie is written by Swaiwyn Quadras and dialogues by Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh. Music rights of Neerja are acquired by T-Series, the music label had joined hands with Fox Star Studios for four movies- Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, M.S.Dhoni, Neerja & Akira. This will be the second movie of year 2016 that is based on true life event after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (22 Jan. 2016). This one is schedule to be released on 19 February 2016.
