Shreyas Talpade Makes Directorial Debut with Poster Boys
Actor Shreyas Talpade turns director with the upcoming comedy drama film Poster Boys. It is an official Hindi remake of Marathi hit film Poshter Boyz and stars Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas himself in lead roles. The film is inspired by a real incident of three coolies who found their pictures on a poster promoting vasectomy.
Poster Boys went on floor in October last year and extensively shot in Mumbai. Film’s shoot has already been completed and now it is under post production stage. After releasing the first look of lead stars in December, recently makers have announced it’s release date i.e. 8th of September 2017.
After doing several films together like Apne, Heroes, Yamla Pagla Deewana 1 & 2, Deol brothers are back again with Poster Boys, but this time they are not playing as brothers. Shreyas Talpade who had produced and played extended cameo in original Poshter Boyz, is making his directorial debut with the upcoming one.
Reportedly along with these three, the film stars Sonali Kulkarni, Lara Dutta, Urvashi Rautela & Dilip Joshi in supporting roles. Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Sunny Sounds Pvt. Ltd. and Affluence Movie Pvt. Ltd., Poster Boys is expected to get decent response at box office after the release, as the original one is among the top opening Marathi films.
