Movies This Week – 10 June 2016
This coming Friday, there are four new movies are being released that includes Te3n & Do Lafzon Ki Kahani from Bollywood & The Conjuring 2 & Warcraft: The Beginning from Hollywood. Among these, thriller movie Te3n has highest hype among audience because of its star power. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani has decent buzz because of its music and promotions.
English movies, The Conjuring 2 & Warcraft are strong contenders but due to less promotions in India, none of them is buzzing effectively among Indian audience. Still both are expected to divert minor section of audience toward themselves. Last week released comedy drama Housefull 3 is still rocking on box office and positively expected to continue with similar pace in its second week too.
Te3n is an Indian thriller movie, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and backed by Sujoy Ghosh, Gulab Singh Tanwar, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Suresh Nair, Sameer Rajendran & Gauri Sathe under the banners Reliance Entertainment, Endemol India, Cinemaa Pictures, Kross Pictures & Blue Water Motion Pictures. It feaures Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. Te3n is an official remake of South Korean movie Montage.
Do Lafzon Ki Kahani is an action romantic movie, directed by Deepak Tijori and produced by Jayantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Dhiraj Shetty, Avinaash V Rai & Deepak Tijori himself under the banners Pen India Limited, Alumbra Entertainment, Dhiraj Motion Pictures, Focus Motion Pictures & Deepak Tijori Films. It features Randeep Hooda & Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani is based on 2011’s Korean movie Always, which has already been remade in Kannada with the title Boxer in year 2015.
The Conjuring 2 is an American supernatural horror movie, directed by James Wan and bankrolled by Peter Safran & Rob Cowan under the banners New Line Cinema, The Safran Company, Atomic Monster, RatPac-Dune Entertainment. It is the second installment of very popular horror franchise The Conjuring, features Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in lead roles.
Warcraft: The Beginning is an action fantasy American movie, directed by Duncan Jones and produced by Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Charles Roven, Alex Gartner & Stuart Fenegan under the banners Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment & Atlas Entertainment. It features Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. Warcraft is beased on the vedio game series with the same title which portrays the initial encounters between humans and orcs.
