Slice-of-life comedy-drama film that has brought megastar Amitabh Bachchan and evergreen Rishi Kapoor together after 27 years on silver screen, 102 Not Out has completed its 3 weeks journey on an excellent note. Despite new releases like Raazi & Deadpool 2, it remained unaffected and all set to touch the 50-crore mark soon.
Umesh Shukla’s directorial this content-driven Hindi film 102 Not Out has received very positive remarks from the critics as well as the audience for its simple story-line & delightful performances by the actors. As a result, it is still enjoying the not-out innings at the box office with a good pace.
Being a non-masala offering, it opened on a decent note but picked up very well over the weekend due to positive reactions of the viewers. By remaining rock-solid throughout, it did the business of 27.70 crores in the first week, that included 16.65 crores of the weekend and 11.05 crores of weekdays from 1100 screens.
In the second week also, 102 Not Out showed consistent performance and registered the business of 14.16 crores with 9.30 crores on the weekend and 4.86 crores on weekdays. Then in the second week as well, it remained solid and once again took a healthy growth over the weekend.
On the third weekend, Columbia Pictures’ presentation minted the amount of 3.77 crores that included 0.77 crore on 3rd Friday, 1.25 crore on 3rd Saturday, and 1.75 crores on 3rd Sunday. On weekdays with a steady pace, the film bagged the amount of 0.65 crore on 3rd Monday, 0.63 crore on 3rd Tuesday, and 0.60 crore on 3rd Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 3rd Thursday, 102 Not Out has faced a slight more drop and garnered the business of 0.58 crore. With this, the total collection of the film after 3 weeks has become 48.09 crores at the domestic box office. Still, it has enough potential left to remain steady in the fourth week as well.
