102 Not Out, Omerta & Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India (NSNI) 2nd Day Collection Report

This Friday released two Hindi offerings- 102 Not Out & Omerta are being affected by the last week released Hollywood biggie Avengers Infinity War at the Indian box office. Despite positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience, both the films are not getting the desired response.

Umesh Shukla’s directorial 102 Not Out is a slice-of-life comedy-drama which has brought the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor together on-screen after 27 years. With its heartfelt story-line and delightful performances by the actors, the film has impressed all the viewers.

On Friday, it opened on a slow note due to Avengers Infinity War but witnessed a fair jump in footfalls from evening shows and minted the amount of 3.52 crores. Then on Saturday, with approx. 57.10% of growth, 102 Not Out raked the business of 5.53 crores and raised its 2 days domestic total to 9.05 crores.

While the Hansal Mehta’s directorial crime drama Omerta that stars Rajkummar Rao has received mostly positive reviews from the critics but struggling to divert audience. On Friday, it took a slow start with 0.54 crore. On Saturday, it bagged the amount of 1.09 crore and raised its 2 days collection to 1.64 crores.

On the other hand, the highly awaited Telugu action film of stylish star Allu Arjun, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India has received an excellent response from the fans across the Telugu states as well as the globe. As expected, it has impressed all the viewers and gained solid word of mouth.

On Friday at a terrific note, NSNI garnered the business of 23.80 crores gross from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana that included 16.25 crores shares. Then on Saturday, the film faced a usual drop and registered the business of 7.70 crores gross (5.25 crores shares) to take its 2 days total to 31.50 crores gross (21.50 crores shares).
