No one had even thought about it, what superstar Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal is facing at box office. This highly star powered, budgeted, promoted and buzzed romantic drama is all set to get vanished from the box office within just two weeks of release.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jab Harry Met Sejal didn’t get a desired start. Also the movie got failed to impress most of the critics as well as audience. Due to which it remained almost flat over the opening weekend and dropped abruptly in weekdays.

As per critics, the leading duo has justified their characters well but the weak script has ruined the entire taste of the movie. Not even it’s music attracts despite having number of tracks. Overall JHMS has nothing that matches with the level of a superstar.

In the opening weekend, Jab Harry Met Sejal didn’t witness any considerable growth due to mixed reviews and raked the business of total 45.75 crores, that included 15.25 crores of Friday, 15 crores of Saturday and 15.50 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, it dropped by heavy rate and did the business of 7.15 crores on Monday (Raksha Bandhan), 2.90 crores on Tuesday, 2.20 crores on Wednesday and 1.75 crore on Thursday. After a week, total collection of the movie was recorded as 59.75 crores from 3200 screens.

Now Imtiaz Ali’s directorial is running in it’s second week and showed dull performance in the second weekend. On 2nd Friday, it minted the amount of only 0.75 crore with 57% of drop than previous day. With slight rise in footfalls due to weekend, Jab Harry Met Sejal garnered the business of 1.10 crore on Saturday and 1 crore on Sunday.

After 10 days of release, total collection of SRK-Anushka starrer has become 62.60 crores at domestic box office. Now it doesn’t seem to cross even 70 crores in lifetime and can be considered as the biggest commercial disaster of the year so far.
