‘Ki and Ka’ Crosses 45 Cr in 10 Days from India
After registering an excellent opening week, now Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Ki & Ka has also reported well in its second weekend; despite new releases. The movie has been released last week on 1700 screens in India with good pre-release hype among audience. Due to positive reviews by critics and favorable response of viewers, it performed progressively in the weekend and emerged as 3rd highest opening weekend grosser movie of the year so far after Airlift and Kapoor & Sons. Being a quirky romantic story, everybody liked it ans showed thumbs up.
Ki & Ka has minted the amount of 25.23 cr in the first weekend, that includes 7.30 cr of Friday, 8.41 cr of Saturday and 9.52 cr of Sunday. In weekdays the movie showed steady performance and raked the business of 12.34 cr, including 3.54 cr of Monday, 3.30 cr of Tuesday, 2.82 cr of Wednesday and 2.68 cr of Thursday. After one week, total collection of Ki & Ka was recorded as 37.57 cr from its Indian screens and 18.63 cr from overseas screens.
Now it is running in the second week and passed the weekend test on an impressive note. Despite the excellent run of The Jungle Book, it added 8.24 cr to its account that includes 2.23 cr of Friday, 2.80 cr of Saturday and 3.21 cr of Sunday. After the second weekend, total domestic collection of Ki & Ka is recorded as 45.81 cr. Within 10 days of release, the movie has become the 4th highest grosser Hindi movie of the year so far after Airlift, Neerja and Kapoor & Sons.
