Year’s one of the much awaited Tamil movies ’24’ has showed outstanding performance across the globe so far. The movie has been released with huge buzz among Tamil audience and received very positive reviews from critics. All this has generated strong word of mouth about it, due to which it still has amazing hold over audience worldwide. With such terrific performance through out, it has become the second highest Tamil grosser of the year so far after Vijay’s Theri.

In the opening week, 24 The Movie reported amazing response and minted the amount of total 43.65 cr across Tamil state, that includes 26.40 cr of weekend and 17.25 cr of weekdays. From its Telugu versions, it raked around 25 cr in a week from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In the second weekend, it did the business of 6.30 cr, that includes 2 cr of Friday, 2.10 cr of Saturday and 2.25 cr of Sunday. After 10th day, total collection of 24 The Movie was recorded as 49.95 cr at Tamil Nadu box office.

From US box office, it has crossed the mark of $1.5 million till 2nd weekend. Now the movie has once again entered in the weekdays and being normal days witnessing lesser response than weekend. On Monday, it faced more than 50% of drop and minted the amount of 1.15 cr* across Tamil Nadu. After 11th day, total collection of 24 The Movie is recorded as 51.10 cr*.
