11th Day Collection of Dhadak: Ishaan & Janhvi starrer Rakes 65 Crores Total by 2nd Monday

After a successful opening week, Karan Johar’s latest production Dhadak has passed its second weekend as well on a solid note despite having the new Hollywood biggie Mission: Impossible – Fallout in parallel. Now once again it has entered on weekdays and still has enough hold over the audience.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is the official Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster film Sairat. The new version stars the newcomers Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles who have received much appreciation from the viewers. From the critics, the movie has got mixed reactions but still scoring well at the box office.

Being backed by the big production house and due to the huge popularity of the original, this romantic drama opened on an impressive note and registered the business of 51.56 crores in the first week with 33.67 crores on the weekend and 17.89 crores on weekdays.

Then in the second weekend, it got affected little by the new releases but successfully managed to remain steady. On 2nd Friday, Dhadak faced a drop of 26.48% than the previous day and minted 2.61 crores. Afterwards, it recorded a healthy growth and collected 4.02 crores on 2nd Saturday and 5.20 crores on 2nd Sunday.

Now Ishaan & Janhvi starrer has stepped-in on weekdays once again but still has a good pace despite a usual drop in footfalls. On 2nd Monday, Zee Studios’ presentation witnessed a drop of 40.23% than Friday and bagged 1.56 crores. With this, its 11 days total collection has become 64.95 crores at the domestic box office.
