11th Day Collection of Sanju, Dutt Biopic Remains Impressive on its 2nd Monday

From the very first day of release, the biopic of Sanjay Dutt ‘Sanju’ is reigning the box office and passed its second weekend as well on a phenomenal note after a blockbuster first week. Due to a strong word of mouth, the movie has entered on weekdays once again at a solid pace.

Directed by the ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, this biographical Hindi drama has got succeed to impress all the viewers like his previous movies. For its brilliantly scripted story-line and outstanding performances by all the actors, it has received very positive feedback from almost everyone.

Being the highly anticipated, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju was released amid the huge excitement of fans and as expected took a record opening. By remaining super-strong throughout the opening week, it did the business of 202.51 crores, that included 120.06 crores on the weekend and 82.45 crores on weekdays from 4000 screens.

Then in the second weekend as well, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production remained remarkable. With a drop of 19.88% than the previous day, it raked 12.90 crores on 2nd Friday. On its 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday, Sanju showed an impressive jump and minted the amount of 22.02 crores & 28.05 crores respectively.

Now again Fox Star Studios’ presentation has stepped-in on weekdays and still stands strong. On 2nd Monday, it witnessed a drop of 28.30% than Friday and bagged the amount of 9.25 crores. With this, the total collection of Sanju after 11 days has become 274.73 crores nett (352.22 crores gross) at the domestic box office.
