14th Day Collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha TEPK, Akshay-Bhumi Starrer Earns 124.40 Crore in 2 Weeks

Director Shree Narayan Singh’s latest offering Toilet Ek Prem Katha has completed it’s 2 weeks journey at box office on an excellent note and still expected to hold well in it’s third week as well. It had became third highest grossing movie of the year so far within 12 days of release, by surpassing Salman Khan’s Tubelight.

Superstar Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer TEPK has impressed all the viewers with it’s solid content and brilliant acting done by the entire cast. From most of the critics as well as it has received very positive reviews and gained strong word of mouth.

In the opening week, this satirical romantic drama showed impressive performance and remained strong throughout. It did the business of 96.05 crores in first week, that included 51.45 crores of weekend and 44.60 crores of weekdays from around 3000 screens across the country.

In the second weekend, Toilet Ek Prem Katha once again took jump and bagged good amount of 19 crores despite having several new offerings in opposite. This included 4 crores of Friday, 6.75 crores of Saturday and 8.25 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays asusual the movie witnessed lesser footfalls in theaters than before but still maintained a good pace. TEPK garnered the business of 2.60 crores on Monday, 2.50 crores in Tuesday and 2.25 crores on Wednesday with 35-44% of drop than Friday.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday, Toilet Ek Prem Katha recorded more drop and minted the amount of 2 crores. After two weeks, total collection of the movie has become 124.40 crores at domestic box office. From the new week, it will have several more new Hindi movies in opposite that include A Gentleman, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Qaidi Band & Sniff.
