Fan Completes 2 Weeks on a Decent Note

Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s latest offering ‘Fan’ has completed its 2 weeks journey at box office on overall decent note. The movie has been released with huge hype and expectations among audience but unfortunately has not received much response. Despite star power and heavy promotions, it has not touched the mark of 100 cr till yet on domestic box office and still far away. Fan had reported overall good opening but settled down so early because of absence of regular ingredients like music, romance etc in it. After such low performance by Fan, Shahrukh has decided not to clash with Sultan this Eid and postponed his next Raees for next year.

In the opening week, Maneesh Sharma’s directorial this thriller drama had witnessed overall good and raked the business of total 71.50 cr, that includes 52.35 cr of weekend and 19.15 cr of weekdays. In the second weekend, Fan has not showed any impressive growth and minted only 7.75 cr, that includes 1.70 cr of Friday, 2.65 cr of Saturday and 3.40 cr of Sunday. After 10 days, total collection of the movie was calculated as 79.25 cr from domestic and 61.35 cr from overseas market.

In weekdays, as last first week it witnessed very low than weekend. With gradual decrements in its occupancy as well as in business, it made the collection of 1.10 cr on Monday, 1 cr on Tuesday and 0.85 cr on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it faced slight more drop and added the amount of 0.75 cr to its account. At the end of two weeks, total collection of Fan is recorded as 82.95 cr at domestic and around 64.96 cr at overseas box office.
