After a couple of successful weeks, Housefull 4 has entered in the third week at an overall decent note despite the new release Bala which has got a solid start at the box office. Now Akshay Kumar starrer has become his 2nd highest-grossing Hindi film and aiming to cross the 200-crore mark by the end of this week.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the fourth instalment of the franchise Housefull has unfortunately faced so much of negativity but still with the good support of the audience, it had raked the business of 141.31 crores that included 53.22 crores in the weekend and 88.09 crores on weekdays from 3900 screens.
Then in the second week also, Housefull 4 had maintained a good pace and did the business of 48.42 crores with 31.27 crores in the weekend and 17.15 crores on weekdays. After 2 weeks, its total collection was recorded at 189.73 crores. Now it is running in the third week and started the weekend at a decent note by collecting 1.95 crores on 3rd Friday.
With this, the total 15 days collection of Farhad Samji’s directorial has become 191.68 crores nett at the domestic box office. On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh had started the journey at a decent note despite a positive word of mouth and did the business of 11.68 crores with 2.47 crores in the weekend and 9.21 crores on weekdays.
In the second week, Tushar Hiranandani’s directorial attained a better pace and garnered 8.37 crores that included 5.49 crores in the weekend and 2.88 crores on weekdays. On 3rd Friday, due to new releases, the film has faced a significant drop and minted 0.40 crore. After 15 days, its total collection has become 20.45 crores nett.
