18th Day Collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha TEPK, Grosses 200 Crore Total Worldwide

Finally the latest offering of superstar Akshay Kumar, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has emerged as his first 200 crore grosser at worldwide box office. This satirical romantic drama has not only ended the long dry spell of Indian box office but also set new height in the career of star.

With it’s solid content and brilliant acting done by the entire cast, TEPK is being liked by everyone across the globe. From critics it has received very positive reviews and gained strong word of mouth. As a result, it attracted more audience and still has enough hold despite having several new offerings in opposite.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet Ek Prem Katha showed impressive performance throughout the opening week and did the business of total 96.05 crores. That included 51.45 crores of weekend and 44.60 crores of weekdays from around 3000 screens nationwide.

Then in the second week too, it remained good despite having several new Hindi movies in opposite and minted the amount of 28.35 crores with 19 crores of weekend and 9.35 crores of weekdays. Now Akshay-Bhumi starrer is running in third week and has more new offerings in opposite.

In the third weekend, TEPK reported almost good performance and raked the business of total 4.75 crores, including 1 crore of Friday, 1.60 crore of Saturday and 2.15 crores of Sunday. After 17 days of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 129.15 crores.

In weekdays, asusual Toilet Ek Prem Katha is getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before but still heading steadily. On 3rd Monday, it faced 30% of drop than Friday and bagged the amount of 0.70 crore. With this, total collection of the movie has become 129.60 crores at domestic box office.

From overseas market, Akshay Kumar starrer has done the business of more than 25 crores gross and raised it’s worldwide total over 205 crores including 180 crores gross from Indian screens.
