19th Day Collection of Tubelight, Salman Khan’s Film Aims to Cross 120 Crore Mark

The immensely awaited Hindi film that was expected to shatter previous records, is actually struggling at box office. Yes! we are talking about superstar Salman Khan’s was drama Tubelight, which has crashed down too early due to unfavorable reactions and ready to end it’s run with this week.

It is very disappointing for fans and trade analyst as well, that the highly promoted and star powered biggie Tubelight has been denied by most of the audience. Earlier it was soaring on expectations, but now it doesn’t seem to even touch the mark of 120 crores nett at domestic box office.

After completing 2 weeks on a lower note than expected, Kabir Khan’s directorial is running in third week and raked the business of only 0.48 crore in it’s third weekend, that included 0.14 crore of Friday, 0.16 crore of Saturday and 0.18 crore of Sunday.

Then with usual fall in footfalls due to normal working days, Tubelight managed to collect the amount of 0.07 crore on 3rd Monday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it recorded more drop and collected the amount of 0.05 crore.

While in it’s first week, Salman Khan starrer bagged the amount of 106.86 crores, with 64.77 crores in weekend and 42.09 crores in weekdays from approx. 4400 Indian screens. In the second week, it got dropped by an abrupt rate and fetched only 11.65 crores that included 8.25 crores of weekend and 3.40 crores of weekdays.

With this total collection of Tubelight after 19 days of release, has become 119.11 crores at domestic box office. In international market too, the film performed on a lower note and has grossed more than 212 crores at worldwide box office so far.
